Milestones
Siemens has played a major role in Saudi Arabia since the country began commercial oil extraction around 1940. Today, Siemens occupies a leading position in the areas of power, information and communications, automation and control, and medical solutions. The founding of Siemens Ltd. as a Regional Company in March 1999 and its subsequent consolidation has solidified Siemens' position in the Saudi market for electrical and electronics products and services. The company is now in the process of integrating various entities into the organizational structure of this single Regional Company.
